Membership The Class Association is looking forward to welcoming its 1000th new member, of which almost 400 are still current. To celebrate this milestone, not only will the 1000th member have their 2010 subscription refunded, but they will also receive a specially embroidered commemorative gift for both helm and crew. Furthermore, if an existing member introduces the 1000th new member and their name is included on the membership application form, then they also will receive a gift from the Class Association. Euro Cup Sponsor We're are pleased to announce that Purple Marine has agreed to sponsor the 2010 Euro Cup Series, with inaugural events being held at North Berwick, Weymouth, Carlingford Lough and Bala. Purple will be supplying prizes through the fleet with some special categories including best capsize! Located at Datchet Water, Heathrow and one of the UK retailers for new and used Laser 2000s. Purple has arranged for the next shipment of boats, which will be fully fitted with Harken blocks and Marlow race ropes, to be available from October 2010.
